We love Grover Beach.

Our vibrant beach community has come a long way since 1959 – potholed residential streets are being repaired, and development projects planned years ago are finally moving forward. The long empty lots and vacant buildings along Grand Avenue are being revitalized. Our town remains a wonderful blend of active seniors and young families, all enjoying the uniqueness of Grover Beach.

We need your help.

A small group of citizens led by a former elected official who literally “walked off the job” in 2019 has been harassing our dedicated city staff, and personally attacking and threatening our neighbors, those with the courage to represent all of us on the City Council. They have been using scare tactics, inaccurate information and lies, threats of recall, and abusive behavior at city council meetings by creating disorder and division. They are attempting to hijack our community and to send us backwards in time.

They need to be stopped.

Perhaps the worst thing about these people is that the issues they protested (water resiliency during drought and related utility rate changes) were resolved by the City Council to their satisfaction. But that wasn’t enough, and we “have the receipts” to prove it.
